As Senior Ministry Executive at Side by Side Ministries, I have the opportunity to be involved in all of our ministry avenues. I’m able to use the skills our Heavenly Father has blessed me with to do a myriad of things that contribute to our vision of demonstrating God’s love to a hurting world one relationship at a time. Whether it be training the new baristas in how to make quality drinks for our guests at Habitué, writing an inspirational devotional for the ministry or creating a brochure for an upcoming Bible study, these gifts I have are used to glorify God and to draw others to Him. One thing I love is that many of these gifts have developed in my time at Side by Side. At times, I’ve heard people say, “I can’t do that, I don’t have the skills.” I believe the opposite is often true. God will place you where He wants and allow you to grow and develop where He places you. We just need to listen and obey.
