Mike and Cheryl were married in 1977. Both Mike and Cheryl have devoted their lives to meeting the needs of people around the world and boldly proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. Mike and Cheryl have four adult children and at the time of this writing, 10 grandchildren.

Being the hands and feet of Christ, both Mike and Cheryl have served on various community and national boards, both in ministry and industry, providing insight and using the heavenly wisdom that only comes from our God. Their purpose is to help guide and steer individuals and organizations towards continued growth both professionally, but also in their relationship with their Savior.

As the CEO of Wells’ Enterprises, the makers of Blue Bunny ice cream, Mike has the opportunity to be a holy ambassador in the workplace. Not only guiding the affairs of the business, but also within relationships he has with those he is able to serve, Mike lives out the Side by Side value of cultivating authentic relationships.

After their children were grown, Cheryl started a coffeehouse ministry in 2010. The vision of Habitué Coffeehouse and Cakes to Remember is to use coffee as a conduit for ministry. Cheryl lives that out on a daily basis in her authentic relationships with both staff and guests alike.
